What should you focus on?

Rainbow 6 siege main game elements and what you should focus on:

So i wanted to ask a question to everyone reading this and it is what small thing do you think you need to work on in rainbow six siege? and to answer this question, you need to be brutally honest with yourself. Here are the main things you should consider when trying to find a training regime that would fit you.

  1. Aim/Gunfights===>K/D
  2. Game-sense
  3. Attack/Defence movement awareness and placement
  4. Cameras/Map knowledge
In my honest opinion Gun-play is the most important element of the R6s, it is a first person shooter after all but it has a close run in with map knowledge these two combine to create the very core of the game and i would even say your rank in the ranked game mode. My aim is probably silver 1 and my map knowledge plastic 12 because i keep uninstalling the game out of anger.
I am currently focusing on aim and K/D and for the moment dismissing my rank completely.  K/D is a good indicator of skill and the higher it is the less likely you are to die to someone with a lower K/D because there is a high likelihood their gun skills are terrible (read the post on bettering your gun skills here).  I would recommend Focusing on K/D to start with because if you are hitting headshots you are getting kills, learn the maps at the same time, learning where the cameras are placed and learning the different bomb sites. A great way to do this is by starting up a custom game and running around the map looking for cams and for bomb sites just play casual and try and remember the bomb site locations.  Save replays of you dying in order to stop dying to the same things that were getting you killed before.  Some symptoms of dying are excessive peeking or even Spawn-peek attempts every round

playing overly aggressive/too defensive or staying in a room with more than 4 windows as a roamer aka a 3 speed like bandit or jager.  Once you identify what you are doing wrong you can start moving in the right direction.
