My rainbow 6 siege tier list

Alot of people wonder who the most powerful operators on rainbow 6 siege are and also why Tachanka is never S tier.

So i have compiled this list that shows my opinion on where the meta is today

So some of these picks may be debatable but i have picked these based on who I think gets banned the most, and also based on the usefulness of each operators skill and the gun they have in game and how i feel about them. So i will explain some of my most controversial picks and why they are, where they are.

So i think a lot of people will wonder why Kapkan is among the last operators and it is because i despise his traps.  Those traps have the ability to 2 shot you, and since I am an ash main i have to be more careful in order to get those ash rush kills that i'm going for, if i didn't hate Kapkan traps and getting 2 shot without even 'getting shot' he would probably be A tier but i'm sorry they just really get on my nerves.  Some people may be surprised to see Rook down in the C tier but i hate the P90 the recoil is uncontrollable and his armour provides a tiny hp bonus that is insignificant if you get Headshot.
Clash is also in C tier because i consider her to be a very high skill cap operator in rainbow 6 siege i am putting clash in C tier because i'm assuming that this clash player is probably bad, a good clash player earns clash a place among the A-Tier operators because i consider her to be one of the best support units on defence.
Dokkaibei is terrible in copper since she will attempt to push the room you're in without knowing your exact location and her whole team will literally do the same thing and die i think at higher ranks she is more or less useful because the phone ring tone will allow seasoned players to pre-fire common spots she would be at least a b tier at higher levels of play.

My rainbow six siege top 5 goes as follows(defenders and attackers mixed together)

  1. Ash: She is the fastest operator in the game and has a tiny hitbox her ash charges allow for fast entry and can surprise the enemy for easy kills she is definitely the best 3 speed operator in the game
  2. Bandit: He has the MP7 which i consider to be the best Smg in the game his bandit batteries can deny entry and he is definitely the best 3 speed defender in the game.
  3.  Vigil: Comes in close 2nd place for best defender in the game, vigil is caveira without the silent step his ability allows for stealthy play and makes the droning phase utterly useless (If you hide without using the ability to avoid getting spotted and use the ability sparingly) his gun is a laser with high damage and this is why he beats caveira for a pick
  4. Montagne: I'm not a big fan of Montagne, but he is honestly an integral part of any team Montagne is like a big badass camera with fragging potential if he is played aggresively.  But he is your best source of information is played passively and is a moving wall that people can use to hold tight angles and get kills on unprepared enemies.
  5. Hibana: Hibana is honestly your worst nightmare she is a ranged thermite and her gun, despite having only 21 rounds is so powerful she is also a 3 speed meaning she is basically ash and thermite's baby
Imma update this post with some pictures soon stay posted :D

Daily Matches updates #2 (Mad matches)

3/8/2019 Today was a great day

Today was pretty insane because i was playing with some mates i have been playing with for many years.

(Play with people you know because a united time works wonders).

My aim was on point i was hitting heads and listening for sounds while playing ash and mostly ash rushing Obj, for defence i was playing bandit and i was aware of where everyone was and wasn't being surprised at any point in time. I hit a 1.73 k/d today despite playing against high silvers and low golds even though my rank is copper 4.

my casual games weren't that good but my ranked games were actually mad thanks to all the training i have had and my teammates helping me win games (get a team together with predefined roles and strats.)

Daily Matches updates #1 (Some good some bad)

3/8/2019 So today wasn't exactly the best i have played in a while to be honest.

Today was a bit irregular and i seem to be having some clutch matches paired with other terrible matches, and some average matches so quite a mixed bag.

I mostly got killed from behind and through walls, that's basically rainbow six siege in a Nut-shell a notable match was the 8 k/d ranked game where i was playing really well with a whole team giving out precise Call-outs, I was pulling mad Head-shots and just having a good time i would probably put my last 2 ranked matches down to bad decision making and overly aggressive play and and my aim wasn't exactly perfect either.  I wasn't playing confidently which was probably why i lacked in gun-play skills in those last matches.

How i train my aim on rainbow 6 siege

So how do i train my aim?

So i spam the hell out of t-hunt normal lone wolf (going to be tracking those soon) so i'm going to start doing 10 T-hunt normal per day from august 4th and tracking kills and deaths from each game and studying the data to see if i'm progressing (I already do t-hunts I'm just not tracking the stats yet.)
so 5 days ago i started using a site called mouseaccuracy.com

and i have been doing 20 of those per day at the same time every day 12:00 PM, i have made a spreadsheet where i record my 20 individual scores and the score average (not recording the target hit accuracy since that is counted in the total score anyway) . here is a screenshot of where i'm currently at.

it's not very visible but each score under 1000 is in red each score under 1100 is orange and all scores above 1100 are in green as you can see since the start my average score has gone up and because of this very site i'm seeing a great improvement in my aim because i can actually tap heads with ease i have gone from a high score of 1125 on day 1 to a high score of 1305 on day 5.  I would definitely recommend this site as it's easy to use and highly modular.
I will be posting daily match updates as well as any changes in my kdr even if i have a terrible day so stay posted and give this a try if anyone wants a copy of the spreadsheet just send me a Dm.  Keep training guys ;D

What should you focus on?

Rainbow 6 siege main game elements and what you should focus on:

So i wanted to ask a question to everyone reading this and it is what small thing do you think you need to work on in rainbow six siege? and to answer this question, you need to be brutally honest with yourself. Here are the main things you should consider when trying to find a training regime that would fit you.

  1. Aim/Gunfights===>K/D
  2. Game-sense
  3. Attack/Defence movement awareness and placement
  4. Cameras/Map knowledge
In my honest opinion Gun-play is the most important element of the R6s, it is a first person shooter after all but it has a close run in with map knowledge these two combine to create the very core of the game and i would even say your rank in the ranked game mode. My aim is probably silver 1 and my map knowledge plastic 12 because i keep uninstalling the game out of anger.
I am currently focusing on aim and K/D and for the moment dismissing my rank completely.  K/D is a good indicator of skill and the higher it is the less likely you are to die to someone with a lower K/D because there is a high likelihood their gun skills are terrible (read the post on bettering your gun skills here).  I would recommend Focusing on K/D to start with because if you are hitting headshots you are getting kills, learn the maps at the same time, learning where the cameras are placed and learning the different bomb sites. A great way to do this is by starting up a custom game and running around the map looking for cams and for bomb sites just play casual and try and remember the bomb site locations.  Save replays of you dying in order to stop dying to the same things that were getting you killed before.  Some symptoms of dying are excessive peeking or even Spawn-peek attempts every round

playing overly aggressive/too defensive or staying in a room with more than 4 windows as a roamer aka a 3 speed like bandit or jager.  Once you identify what you are doing wrong you can start moving in the right direction.

How to get better at rainbow 6 siege

How can you possibly get better at first person shooters i hear you ask?

(If you don't care about my life story feel free to skip through)
This is me I'm a 19 year old british dude that lives in France you can call me Fire cos i'm fkin hot.  I have been living here for the most part of my life now and i really love video games i started on medal of honour pacific assault at the age of about 4.  So yeah you could say i'm an experienced gamer but I have never been inherently good at video games even though i have been playing them throughout my life,my bro on the other hand almost qualified for the Fortnite world cup which is obviously a bit of a pain.  But the thing is all this time playing video games, was kind of spent just playing.  I wasn't recording my progress, I wasn't doing any drills, I just wasn't trying to get better.  When i was in England i played call of duty MW3 for upwards of 4 hours a day on the Xbox 360 trying to "git gud" and kept telling my parents how I was still trash after all this time playing.  And they would say the typical dad or mum thing like "just go do something else more creative" that has now changed to "go get a job".  So now here i am sitting here making plans about how to get good at Rainbow six siege, yes i could be doing better things with my time but this will do for now...

So what am i providing?

I'm not trying to go for funny moments or insane Game-play at this stage, i'm not a god and i'm definitely not Meatymarley and i can not one tap for shit, I am currently the worst rank on the game sitting at copper 4 (copper hell) thanks to me losing every ranking match when i started playing again 2 weeks ago.  But what I'm trying to give You,  the reader of this post. Is the motivation and the steps you need to be the best player you can possibly be. The first goal i set myself was to go from a 0.88 casual k/d to a 1.00 casual k/d at over 2000 kills I hit that 1.00 k/d in just over 2 weeks (Despite my k/d tanking the first couple of days after i reinstalled) (see pictures below) if you don't believe me check out NwT_Fire on r6stats.com

I will show you my approach to planning a training course and even help you plan on your own showing you my methods and how i'm able to pull off 8 k/d ranked games on good days(see below)

If you have read all of this i hope you stick around because trust me if you do, you will see a change in your Game-play i'm already seeing a change in mine.

One last thing i have to say is that you may not see an immediate change in your Game-play this takes time like anything, if you train once and notice you haven't got better stick to it because this is the same as fitness you get out what you put in.  Also please keep in mind game sense goes a LOOOONG way if you have no game sense you cannot improve and game sense comes through hours and hours of Game-play there are lots of things that altogether make a good siege player but what should you focus on?.  (I have a bit of game-sense)
I'll see you guys in the next post don't forget to trust in the process and please don't uninstall the game :P
